Subscription, Pre-Order & Try-Before-You-Buy Policy
Some items at Henkey’s may be offered as a subscription or a pre-order.
This page explains how those purchases work and how you can change or cancel them.
Please read this together with our Returns Policy and our Confidence Guarantee.
1. Subscriptions
How subscriptions work
When you start a subscription, you’ll receive repeat deliveries on the schedule you select (for example, every 30, 60, or 90 days).
Your subscription savings (currently 10% off) apply to every recurring order unless otherwise stated.
Billing & payment details
By starting a subscription, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to:

securely store your payment method, and
-
automatically charge it on each billing date.
You will receive an order confirmation and/or reminder email before each shipment.
Managing or cancelling your subscription
You can skip, pause, edit, or cancel your subscription anytime using the “Manage Subscription” link in your order emails or by logging into your Henkey’s account.
To avoid being charged for an upcoming refill, please make changes at least 24 hours before your next billing date.
Once a subscription order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be canceled, but it may still be eligible for return under our Confidence Guarantee (details below).

At Henkey’s, we stand behind every product we stock.
If a product doesn’t deliver for you — whether you’re opening it for the first time or you’ve already given it a fair shot — reach out and we’ll make it right.
There’s no strict timeline, no pressure, and no hoops to jump through.
Just email us at hey@henkeys.com, and we’ll take care of it.
We may ask you to send the product back so we can understand what didn’t land and help guide you to something that will.
This guarantee applies to all subscription shipments, including refills.
If a product stops delivering for you — whether it’s your first order or your tenth — you can send it back. We simply ask that a reasonable amount of product remains so our team can review the issue and improve our curation.

If your item arrives damaged, leaking, or incorrect, contact us immediately and we’ll replace or refund it.
A Quick Note on Fair Use
Our Confidence Guarantee is designed for real customers giving products an honest try.
In rare cases of misuse or abuse of the policy, Henkey’s reserves the right to limit returns or refuse future service, as permitted by law.
We don’t expect to use this clause often — and most customers will never come close to it. But it ensures we can keep offering a truly no-pressure, worry-free experience for everyone.
2. Pre-Orders
How pre-orders work
When you purchase a pre-order, you’re reserving an item that is not yet available to ship. At checkout, you may:

pay in full,
-
pay a deposit and be charged the remainder upon shipment, or
-
authorize a temporary payment hold that will be charged when the item ships.
Estimated ship dates are shown on the product page and/or your confirmation email. These dates may shift due to supplier or shipping delays.
Cancelling a pre-order

You may cancel any unfulfilled pre-order by contacting us.

Deposits will be refunded according to the details on the product page.

Once a pre-order has shipped, it cannot be canceled, but it may still qualify for a return under our Returns Policy or Confidence Guarantee (if applicable).
3. Try-Before-You-Buy (if available)
For select items, we may offer a try-before-you-buy option.
How it works

We may place a temporary authorization on your card during the trial window.

You’ll have a set number of days (shown at checkout) to decide what to keep.

Items returned in acceptable unopened and unused condition within the window will not be charged.

Items opened, used, or returned late may be charged in full.
Due to skincare and hygiene regulations, opened try-before-you-buy items cannot be returned unless damaged or defective.

Returns with no product remaining

Returns far outside our standard return timeframe

Items marked final sale or non-returnable
5. Legal & Consumer Rights
Henkey’s complies with all applicable consumer protection and automatic renewal laws (including California’s Automatic Renewal Law).
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under state or federal law.
